“The Tribe” in Cannes at Semaine de la Critique

Ukrainian filmmaker Myroslav Slaboskpytskiy was awarded Silver Leopard in Locarno (2012) with his short feature film  Nuclear Waste.

His 2 previous shorts, Deafness, Diagnosis, were selected in Berlinale – competition.

The Tribe is his first feature length. It is an homage to Silent movies, shot entirely with deaf-and-dumb actors.
